The 16 page newsletter contains various custom illustrations, bold typography and a vibrant colour scheme. Click here to view some sample pages of the new newsletter design.

The newsletter was printed on recycled paper stocks with a Natural finish. This paper uses up to 70% less energy and at least 15000 fewer litres of water per tonne of pulp used*. Using  a recycled paper stock instead of virgin wood fibre also helps to reduce pressure on forests and diverts waste paper away from landfill.

The designs feature a set of three square cards containing the invite, location map and RSVP card. These cards are then held together within a custom designed folded holder, which features a printed message on the inside. The wedding invite cards are housed within the holder and the whole package is neatly sealed with the address label.

The new packaging designs feature a vibrant brand identity intended to stand out on the shelf, with bold typography and a vivid colour scheme. The pouches are self standing with a re-sealable zip to keep the contents fresh and are supplied flat-packed to the factory in order to minimise the transportation and environmental costs.

The folder design features an illustration featuring bold typography and spray painted textures and stencils. The stencils were produced by members of the youth centre, scanned and then incorporated into the illustration.

The A4 size folder has slots to hold a business card in the flap and features a 5mm capacity (thickness) so that the recently completed annual report and newsletter will fit comfortably into it.

The new company logo design references the shapes produced by pack of cards, with abstract shapes portraying a sense of movement and dynamism.

The corresponding stationery design also looks to play on this theme, with rounded corners on the business cards, compliment slip and letterhead designs.

Pilot Kings describe themselves as bringing a refreshingly original sound to the NYC scene with a diverse set of tunes ranging from aggressive to introspective that balance pop sensibility with solid musicianship. Their new album is called ‘Painted Garden’ and is due for release early this year.

The album design features a Brooklyn skyline with a dramatic sky background illustration designed to wrap around the card wallet, creating a continuous image.

We will be cycling 1000 miles using the gym’s five spin bikes in 15 hours with the aim to average 70 miles per hour between 5 bikes. We are biking in 1 hour slots from 7am -10pm, so a big collective effort by all the gym members!

There are a range of stylised illustrations for each of the main articles in order to make the booklet design distinctive and appeal to younger people.
